Adrià este adolescent şi locuieşte cu fratele mai mare într-un sat. Este mut, nu poate suporta spaţiile închise şi atenţia îi zboară ori de câte ori cineva îi vorbeşte. Oriunde se duce, oamenii fac mişto de el, îl insultă şi aruncă în el cu orice le pică în mână. Adrià are un secret: în nopţile cu lună plină nu poate dormi, aşa că rătăceşte pe uliţe. Şi simte miros de sânge. Şi intră în coteţele gâinilor. Şi le prinde. Şi le mănâncă. Crude.

Adrià is a boy who lives in a village with his older brother. Adrià is mute, can't stand enclosed spaces, and finds it hard to keep his attention when spoken to. Wherever he goes, everyone makes fun of him, insults him, throws stones at him. Adrià has a secret: on full moon nights, he can't sleep and wanders the streets. And he smells blood. And he searches the henhouses. And he catches chickens. And he eats them. Raw.
