Filmul este un autoportret al lui Agnès Varda, care ne dezvăluie aspecte din viața ei de fotograf, scenarist, documentarist, cineast, artist plastic, soție și mamă a doi copii.
Revenind pe plajele care au marcat diferite etape din viața ei, Agnès Varda își pune pe ecran amintirile cu ajutorul unor imagini, reportaje și fragmente din filmele ei.

2008 - Documentary, Biography - France - Directed by Agnès Varda

Returning to the beaches which have been parts of her life, Varda invents a kind of auto-filmo-documentary. Agnès stages herself among excerpts of her films, images, and reportages. She shares with humor and emotion her beginnings as a stage photographer, innovative early filmmaker of the French Nouvelle Vague, her life with Jacques Demy, her feminism, her trips to Cuba, China, and the USA, her life as an independent producer, and her family life.
