Italia, 1980. Trei adolescenţi idealişti, Paolo, Giulio şi Riccardo, sunt nedespărţiţi şi împart totul frăţeşte. Între ei îşi face loc Gemma, iubita lui Paolo, care devine o constantă a vieţii lor. Dar timpul trece, iar viaţa îi desparte pe măsură ce fiecare îşi urmează propriul drum. De-a lungul anilor, cei patru prieteni se vor regăsi şi se pierde în repetate rânduri, fiecare confruntându-se cu propriile speranţe, deziluzii, succese şi eşecuri şi mai ales cu trecerea timpului.

Italy, 1980. Three 16-year-old idealists, Paolo, Giulio and Riccardo, share everything like brothers. Along with them is Gemma, Paolo’s girlfriend, who quickly becomes a full part of their lives. But life catches up with them and the young friends embark on different paths. As years go by, the four friends reconnect and lose touch over and over, while struggling with their hopes, disillusionments, successes, failures and the passage of time.
